27th July Event Post
Baby shower pottery table: We had such a good pottery event at Native coffee on Sunday. The pottery table was through our Project C3cave. We had the cutest handmade baby themed coupons for the girls attending and a tiara for the mama to be. For those who are unaware C3cave is a project Chloe started up in Belfast. C3 from C3Cave not only stands for the mother hub of the project ‘Chloe’s creative cave’ but due to Chloe’s background in community work she learned the importance of connecting 3 very important elements: Personal, Social and Professional growth. This project collaborates and connects with various artists in and around Belfast to support them professionally. The idea is for the community to teach the community. This Sunday we supported both Calie (@calies creative spaces) and David. Calie is a potter and missionary from America and David is starting off in his photography. The workshop went brilliant allowing the group to be social and creative, finding their flow whilst Chloe also fulfilled the deep desire to support artists professionally at the starting point of their journey. Unfortunately the girls aren’t comfortable with their faces being recognizable as they are figures in school and educational settings which is understandable, so I have blurred their faces. Calie was an amazing facilitator throwing the plant pots on the wheel and advising them on techniques to design and add texture to their plant pots. I will post David’s photography soon as well as his artist profile.
